Can I keep track of the events that happened to my document?
You have end-to-end traceability for every document processed by Communication Platform, from ingestion through delivery or error. An audit log gives you a chronological timeline of technical and functional events, enabling you to:
- Understand where a document is in its process at any time
- Investigate issues or failures based on recorded events
- Demonstrate compliance through full lifecycle transparency
- Cross-reference system behavior with external logs
You can consult the full processing status and event history of any individual document directly from Communication Platform. From the audit trail view by document, every document entry links to a dedicated detail panel, where you can:
- View the current status of the document
- Search and filter the documents list to easily retrieve one or several documents
- Explore a chronological event log, showing key processing steps like ingestion, validation, routing, delivery and errors.
- Identify whether the document was processed successfully or failed at a specific step
Every status or event is timestamped and contextualized with metadata such as:
- Event category name
- Event name
- Timestamp
The same applies to the tracking and monitoring the lifecycle of an entire sending. From the platform, you can:
- Access the sending overview page, listing key metadata
- See the aggregated status of the sending
- Drill down into individual document statuses & history within the group to identify where issues occurred
